The conference will be held in person.

The abstract should clearly state the research problem being addressed, the methodology used, and the main conclusions (including new findings, if applicable).

Abstracts should be one A4 page, in a double-column format.

Each presentation will be 15 minutes. Theoretical and empirical studies, case studies, etc., are all welcome, provided they are original contributions.

Previously published works (or content) cannot be submitted.

Non-members are required to apply for membership.
Application Procedure
Applications for the "Category F: English Session" must be submitted via the "Abstract Submission Form" on this conference website. Please refer to the sample, complete the official "Abstract Template" file, and attach it to the submission form.

The deadline for abstract submissions is Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 23:59 JST

Submissions will be rejected if the manuscript format differs from the specifications, or if the Executive Committee deems the content inappropriate for presentation on the grounds of research ethics. The contact person will be notified of the review results.

In the case of multiple presenters, the contact person is responsible for communicating with all co-presenters.

If your presentation is accepted, the submitted abstract will be used as the official summary for the conference.

All presenters are required to pay the conference registration fee, regardless of membership status.

No travel expenses or honoraria will be provided for presentations.
JANPORA Awards and Annual Conference Outstanding Presentation Award

The JANPORA will present the "Annual Conference Outstanding Presentation Award" for the best presentation at the annual conference.

The award is conferred upon regular or student members of JANPORA who have been approved to present by the Organizing Committee. Individuals who have previously won this award twice are ineligible.

Winners will be selected based on a comprehensive review of the submitted abstracts and papers, as well as the content of the presentations delivered at the conference.

Winners will be announced on the conference website, the JANPORA website, and the mailing list after the annual conference. All winners will receive a certificate.

Presenters will be automatically considered for the award unless they choose to decline. To decline consideration, please check the box "I decline to be considered for the award" during the application process.

Papers submitted after the deadline will not be reviewed for the award.

Submission of Presentation Paper

For the "Category F: English Session," applicants must submit a paper of any length on A4 size paper, including the research background, problem awareness, objectives, analysis methods, results, and references. The paper must not be a mere copy of presentation materials (e.g., PowerPoint slides).

This material will be made available to the moderators, discussants, and participants in advance.

Detailed submission instructions will be provided later to presenters whose applications have been approved.
